All activities, while aligning with the strategic goals, will include DOT thinking to grow the participation of individuals across the valley in various community projects. This movement of volunteers is key to realising the strategic vision and mission of RTV.

All RTV programmes and projects align with the following strategic goals:

 

- Support the strengthening of inter- and intra- community relationships

- Help to build the civic capacity of community members, particularly the youth

- Encourage the sharing of ideas, experience, knowledge and expertise to identify shared challenges and positive solutions.

 

RTV projects follow a methodological approach based on participatory and democratic decision-making, inclusiveness and interactivity. The purpose of all projects is to address community identified challenges; create spaces for interaction, innovation and creative thinking; and improve the skills and decision-making capacity of communities and their members.

 

Each programme outline and associated project proposals include the rationale for and objectives of the project, the approach to the project, desired outputs and outcomes, and how these are monitored and evaluated.
