A key feature of a community democracy is a spirit of volunteerism. Revamp The Valley's theme for 2018 is:

D.O.T. (Do One Thing)

Pick a project you feel passionately about, or suggest something, big or small, you would like to do and where we can assist.

We encourage partnerships and collaborations with all individuals, community groups, associations, or non-profits who wish to build a “community commons” to spark ideas, develop agreements, build trust and participation on an intergenerational and intercultural basis.

GET INVOLVED

Building a volunteer network is the only way any improvements can get done. As we introduce Revamp projects, we would like to invite you to join in as we create teams to collaborate and make a difference.

PROJECT LEADER:

It can seem a daunting responsibility to lead a project, but we will work with you and guide you as much (or as little) as you need. Revamp has certain foundational principles and guidelines but we want you to use your initiative, create a vision for something you can be passionate about - just tell us what that is!

TEAMS:

Not interested in leading a project, but would love to be a part of a team?

Nothing can happen without the worker bees that form a strong, energetic team that gets stuff done.

ORGANISERS:

Revamp has several awareness campaigns and public events on the "To Do" list. If organising is your strength, get in touch.

Campaigns include: A physical D.O.T. campaign, and an "End Street Harassment" campaign.

Events: Public art-related events with a focus on environmental awareness and recycling.

Show up to an event. Whether you bring a spade, a camera, paintbrush, or cookies, we welcome you. Check out the projects that are happening and find what interests you, your family and your friends.
If you can't be there, consider making a financial donation. Ask us for the banking information.
Material donations are always welcome.

HOST A WORKSHOP OR INFORMATION SESSION

Revamp The Valley encourages the sharing of ideas, experience, knowledge and expertise to identify shared challenges and devise positive solutions.

Within the established vision and policies of Revamp, we welcome and support collaborative endeavours that benefit the broader community.
